3129 Bonestell is an asteroid in the Main Belt, discovered on 25 June 1979 and named after Chesley Bonestell.

Tanner and Tanya Staafl (brother-and-sister hippies who enjoy tweaking the Heinleiners' metaphorical noses) have set up an artists' commune called Chesley Acres on 3129 Bonestell.
