18610 Arthurdent is a small main belt asteroid. It was discovered by Felix Hormuth on 7 February 1998. It is named after Arthur Dent, from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.

It is the location of an unnamed Belter-run establishment that is roughly equivalent to a 'Daneside truck stop/flop house. Among the services available to a space traveler are an inexpensive no-frills "motel", showers, a diner, a small fuel depot/general store, several public-access Interwave terminals, and a small team of mechanics and techs. The staff also provides informal "ride-matching" services, helping connect itinerant travelers and "hitchhikers" with willing rides heading in the right direction. Arthurdent is also the location of one of the smaller Interwave nodes serving the Belt.
