The Russian Federal Space Agency's Soyuz TMA-01M spacecraft is rolled out by train to the launch pad at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan, Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010.

The Space Powers are the nations which had independent space launch capability before handwavium. They are also generally considered to be some of the largest and most powerful nations on the planet.
