Main Store

Holo Neon is a store owned and operated by Dakota in Kandor City. It first opened late 2014 and is located across the street from Flynn's Arcade. Holo Neon offers pre-built and custom holo displays for ads or events. The store interior mixes old general store with worn wooden shelving and supertech/cyberpunk elements. Carefully staggered displays break up the floor, but leave a unblocked view of the products.[1] Soft lighting is used throughout to help show off the active holograms more clearly. A counter at the back splits Dakota's workshop in the back from the rest of the store, while leaving the customer able to view him as he works. Externally the store has a rather generic appearance with a very stylized holographic sign over the door.[2]

Dakota's holotech uses energy fields and particle projectors to product it's effects. Almost always a reliable, quirk low, Softlight system using banks of emitters. As of 2019 Managed to product a Hardlight system while visiting the Catgirls of Catgirl Industries. The Hardlight system is currently under study by Star Fleet engineers.

Most of the pre-built systems are a sleek, and compact low profile style. Anything from basic wall banners to full 3D area projectors. He also offers a line of portable projector systems from small hover platforms to deployable barricade systems.

Currently his biggest walk in profit comes from the Omni-tools. while his must profitable service is his contract work.

Products

Line of prebuilt projector systems with computer controllers.

Currently using generation four emitter systems.

Line of omni-tools using Flex Board tech.

Currently selling Mk-0 Omni-Tools.

Line of holographic preprogramed model projectors. For those that don't have the room for physical models on display all the time.

Other

He also produces a smaller amount of Tau related material. Mainly Functional Pulse Rifles, Carbines, Firewarrior armor, and Tau drones for collectors/40k Fen. Thou most of those are up to the buyer on how they fit them beyond the basic modular sensor package and grav drive system.[3]

Firewarrior armor - Standard - Hasn't changed much outside of improved materials in it's construction. Some have been modified to make use of low profile exo-skeletons built by other Fen.

Pulse Rifle/Carbine Mk I - Nothing but a fancy gauss weapon.

Pulse Rifle/Carbine Mk II - More powerful electromagnets and better ammo design. Currently sold version with upgrade kits available to owners of the Mk I

Pulse Rifle/Carbine Mk III - Currently only one in existence, uses a induction field to 'superheat' the round into a liquid state as it's launched with a powerful electromagnetic pulse. Uses info gained from Star Fleet on one of Dakota's trip to help them reverse engineer the Hardlight system. The prototype has a hardwired biometric locking system build into the grip to keep anyone but Dakota from using it.

Dakota is currently working with the owner of Flynn's Arcade to produce a line of holo arcade games with a retro theme.
