Supposedly, the Intelligence Agency of the [Crystal Millennium]

If it exists. Requests for Information on the subject are generally met with a simple response: "We can neither confirm nor deny the existence of the information requested but, hypothetically, if such data were to exist, the subject matter would be classified, and could not be disclosed."

Various individuals, ships and crews have at one stage or another been suggested to be a part of HMSS, even while holding other, more public positions. There are, of course the usual suspects. But some are more than a little unusual.

It is believed to operate on a far more ad-hoc basis than Section 31, or SHIELD, with a small administrative core recruiting 'trustworthy' individuals for missions and tasks that match their expertise. Suddenly finding oneself thrust unwillingly into a position of responsibility seems to be an intentional theme within the faction...

The Usual Suspects:

Rumours that Sailor Stellvia is involved in this somewhere, drawing on her employer's experience as an OGJ Troubleshooter, are met with laughter ... but not with denials.[1]

AC Peters is, of course, high on the list of candidates "everyone knows" is part of HMSS. The fact that she's a Supers 00 agent is quietly ignored.

Notes:

  1. Yeah, Yayoi's part of HMSS - but only in a desk job and an advisory position. She's too well-known to be a field agent.
