'''3895 Earhart''' (or "1987 DE") is a [[The Main Belt|Main Belt]] asteroid discovered on 23 February 1987 by Carolyn S. Shoemaker at Palomar Observatory. It was named for Amelia Earhart (1897–1937), a distinguished pioneer in the field of aviation.

The asteroid was claimed by [[Yayoi Fujisawa]] on 8 April 2015, who began work on a private residence and the '''Earhart Flight Academy'''. She first used the residence on 8 April 2018. The flight school was opened on 5 August 2029, offering training in astronautics, astrogation, and piloting to all Fen.<ref>They don't compete directly with the Starfleet Academy Main Belt Campus on [[2309 Mr. Spock]]; that facility is open only to [[Trekkies]], and Trekkies - even those outside of the [[VVS]] nation-state - don't usually patronize Earhart because of StellviaCorp's alliance with the [[Warsies]].</ref>
